Iran vs. Israel: A Family Feud Over an Inheritance
1) One family tree, shared beliefs
A single ancestor, Abraham, and religious "algorithms" that overlap heavily
The conflict between Iran and Israel isn't a holy war. It's a bitter battle for control of the family business, fought out of pride between siblings who share an ancestry and a blueprint. Both traditions trace themselves to one ancestor, Abraham. It's not just the roots: the religious "algorithms" are largely the same. Monotheism, circumcision, dietary laws: the core logic is strikingly similar, and yet for thousands of years they've pointed swords at each other over who is the true heir. Judaism, Shia Islam and Sunni Islam are, in this view, different branches in a franchise war over Abraham's legacy.
2) The split in the family line: an inheritance dispute 4,000 years old
Ishmael the elder and Isaac the younger, the historical fuse
It all began with Abraham's two sons, Isaac and Ishmael. Judaism traces its line through Isaac, the younger; Islam honors Ishmael, the elder. Two brothers from one father each insisting their share of the inheritance was bigger: that pride is the seed of this long war.
3) Meeting and parting: an operating-system clash in the 7th century
Rejection in Medina and the change of prayer direction (qibla)
In 622, in Medina, a newcomer named Muhammad arrived, declaring he would restore the faith of Abraham, and tried to connect with the existing Jewish system. When the established Jewish community flatly rejected this "update," Islam changed its direction of prayer from Jerusalem to Mecca and declared its own path. It was the moment a new operating system and an old legacy system refused to be compatible and became strangers.
4) Adidas and Puma: brothers at war
Shared technical roots, and all firepower aimed at each other
Their relationship is like the Dassler brothers, who shared shoemaking skills, fell out and split into Adidas and Puma. Same technical roots, same product, sneakers, yet each insists it's the real one, builds a factory on opposite sides of town and pours everything into crushing the other. Iran and Israel today are fighting with weapons built partly from their ancestors' legacy.
5) The original restaurant vs. the franchise
A shared recipe, a popular version and a fight over the title of "original"
If the original restaurant that guarded its secret recipe in one place for thousands of years is the Jewish one, the one that took the recipe, adapted it for the masses and opened giant chains all over the world is the Islamic one. The signs are different, but to customers it tastes much the same, while the owners are throwing furniture at each other over who owns the real sign.
Conclusion: a ruthless war of interests born of pride
Regional dominance hidden behind sacred causes
The grand cause of religion is just wrapping paper. Inside is a fight over who controls the region and takes the larger share. Religious cause, worldly power and ancestral pride are mixed together into a war of destruction that can't stop. This fight between brothers, trying to take each other's rice bowl in the name of holy war and God's will, shows how cruel things can get when the closest relatives become enemies.
